>Weekend Wrap Up

>This past weekend we went to NYC to visit some friends.

Well, not a mistake to visit friends, but a big mistake to go to NYC on a December weekend. Apparently, everyone and their mother, brother, aunt, uncle, sister, cousin, and neighbor goes to NYC in December to see the lights. Who knew? Not me, that’s who. IT WAS A CRAZY MOB SCENE FROM HELL!!!!! PEOPLE EVERYWHERE. Loud people, obnoxious people, stinky people, drunk people…just HUMANITY…EVERYWHERE. Aaaaak!

Can you see this picture? Its really dark, but maybe you can. It was like this everywhere. Wall to wall PEOPLE. Streets closed down to the teeming masses. Horrifying.

I kept feeling like Boo Boo was gonna get hit by a taxi, or that Boo Boo was gonna get spit on by some drunk person, or that Boo Boo was gonna get trampled on in the crowds, or that Boo Boo was gonna get swiped. Of course, none of this happened, and truth be told Boo Boo LOVED it! He just stared and stared and giggled and cooed. He loved the crowds and the attention and he seemed to even love the COLD cold air. Here he is bundled up alongside his friend..awww…..

Here is the whole family all bundled…we look like we are having fun, but truth be told Momma and Daddo were both stressed from the amount of PEOPLE everywhere…

Radio City…the only tree we saw, cause yea, um…we couldn’t even MAKE it all the way to Rockefeller Center cause of all the PEOPLE. We literally could not maneuver the strollers through the crowds to get there. Kinda a bummer, but, whatever…

Did I mention we took the subway? Oh my heavens, crazy crazyyyyyyyy. So crowded that you had to press up against all kinds of PEOPLE, and Boo Boo was in his stroller wedged in between legs and booties and PEOPLE and I felt nauseous and sweaty and stressed. Aaaaak. I think we learned an important lesson this weekend….Momma is old and she is meant for the old people suburbs. The End.

The one AWESOME highlight of the trip was CMom…the Children’s Museum of Manhattan. We took Boo Boo there and he went COCO LOCO with joy. He crawled everywhere, explored everyone, touched everything (hello germ central). I took a bunch of pictures, and 90% of them were his buns as he took off crawling away from me. Wanna see?

I couldn’t contain him, he wanted to be FREEEEee to climb and explore and crawl and roll. I sure wish we had something like that place near us, cause he just blossomed.
Here are some more…

Fireman Boo Boo
Tunnel Boo Boo
Ball Envy Boo Boo (that sounds dirty…not what I meant!!! Sheesh!)
Mirror Lovin’ Boo Boo
Boo Boo having some words with a Toy Hog (“I am only gonna say this one time Buster…SHARE”)

And, after two hours, the most beautiful site of All….TOTALLY ZONKED OUT BOO BOO!!
